So I’ve decided to start a new weekly post where I will post new foods that I have discovered and loved on Weight Watchers. Hopefully, this will help give you ideas for new foods to try and stay successful on your journey!
First up is Birdseye Riced Cauliflower.
I had heard about this before but hadn’t gotten around to buying it. But let me tell you, this stuff is really great! I am so excited that I’ve found a substitute for rice and it is 0sp on the Weight Watchers Freestyle plan! I used it this week to make cashew chicken (7sp) and it was delicious!
It was so easy to make because I just put the bag in the microwave and cooked it for about 5 minutes and it was ready! I’m excited to try it in more recipes!
Another food that I discovered recently is Western Bagels.
They are bagels that you can order online through their website and the Alternative 2.0 bagels are 3sp each. The bagels are a bit smaller than a full size bagel that you can buy in the store but they are definitely big enough to make a sandwich or whatever you want to make with them.
I’ve used them to make just bagels and cream cheese, breakfast sandwiches, or even just a lunch meat sandwich.
And finally, another food that I have discovered recently is Ben & Jerry’s Moo-Phoria Chocolate Milk and Cookies ice cream.
This ice cream is really delicious! It is 6sp per 1/2c serving so stopping at one serving is difficult, but I find if I allow myself a treat every once in a while, it helps me stay on track and I’m less likely to go off on a binge. I also find it helps to share this with others in my household so I can split up the servings.
