I apologize for not posting lately, my kids and I have been very sick. My son came down with RSV last week and over the weekend I got sick and then my daughter got RSV also, so it’s just been a miserable week. I haven’t done much cooking, tracking, or anything this week. I missed my weight watcher’s meeting again on Monday and I’m glad to be finally feeling better so I can get back on track and get to my meeting this coming Monday.
One thing about being sick that I have noticed, is that I tend to crave a lot of junk food when I am not feeling well. I know that it is because when I am sick I want comfort and food has always been my comfort, and I know that I need to change that. I need to have a plan for when I get sick and don’t feel like cooking. Maybe I could stock up on a few healthy options that are easy to prepare, so that I can turn to those when I am not feeling well. If anyone has suggestions on what I could stock up on for those times, I would really appreciate it.
Otherwise, for now I’m on the mend and have a small menu planned for the rest of this week that I will post later today. I hope everyone else is well and staying on track.
